The Aoki Club

Aoki Club is more than a class. It’s a community. Each session follows a structured approach that blends breathwork, mobility, balance practices, energy work, and guided relaxation. What makes us unique is connection. Research shows that relationships are one of the most powerful contributors to longevity, even more than diet or exercise alone. At Aoki Club, older adults build strength, calm, and vitality while also experiencing the joy of belonging.

HI THERE, I’m Rita.

My inspiration for Aoki Club started close to home. My grandmother, Aoki, who is 82, still farms every day in Japan. Watching her made me realize that aging can look very different when we stay active, connected, and intentional about wellness. She showed me that everyone can age well.

Those lessons shaped my path. I studied yoga in India, trained as a clinical hypnotherapist, and traveled through Thailand and Japan. Along the way, I immersed myself in yoga, meditation, and Eastern philosophy to find the most effective practices for both mind and body.

What I discovered is that the most powerful results come from combining:

  • Movement to keep the body strong and mobile

  • Breathwork to calm the nervous system and sharpen focus

  • Energy practices to restore balance and vitality

  • Community connection to support joy, resilience, and longevity

Today, I bring Aoki Club to older adults in senior living communities across the United States, creating spaces where aging well is not just an individual journey, but a shared one.

Every program is designed to support residents in staying strong, calm, and connected, while making life easier for community staff.

  • Group sessions using the Aoki Method, a structured blend of breathwork, mobility, balance practices, joint movement, and guided relaxation. Each class is tailored to the needs of older adults, helping participants feel stronger, calmer, and more connected.

  • One-on-one or small group classes for residents who want extra support.

  • A growing collection of structured Aoki Method sessions that residents can follow anytime, anywhere. Ideal for communities looking to extend wellness access beyond live classes.
